Do flowers have male and female parts?

They sure do. The female part is called the pistil. It is found in the center of the flower. It often has a sticky tip to trap pollen and is swollen at the base. Inside the pistil the eggs are born.

The stamens are the male part of the flower. Each stamen is a tiny stem with a sac of dust like pollen grains at the top. They are found in a ring around the pistil.
