The addax is a clumsy-looking animal. It has a mat of dark-brown hair on the forehead and thin, spiral horns. They have big spreading hoofs, which help them walk on soft sand in the desert. They never drink water. They get moisture from their food. They can be found in Africa and live in herds of 20 to 200 animals.
