See how pollen inside this red flower sticks to the eraser! Pollen sticks to bees and other insects in much the same way as they get nectar from the flowers. Then the bees and insects travel from flower to flower, leaving tiny grains of pollen here and there. That's one way flowers are pollinated! Look at the drawing! Can you find these four important parts of a flower? 1) Petal: pretty soft parts of the flowers that attract insects and animals 2) Pistil: this tube in the center of the flower has a sticky surface and catches the pollen 3) Pollen: tiny grains made by the stamen 4) Stamen: make pollen and each flower has more than one Can you find the stamen and pistil in each of the pictures?
